The wood industry is a growth area for SGS, which we are persistently expanding and developing. In February 2008, we have taken over the wood unit of DIM Industrieservice GmbH with a staff of ca 70, giving us the advantage of a large experienced team. We offer worldwide mechanical and electrical installations of plants for companies in the wood industry.

We perform installations of lumberyards, saw lines, sorting and stacking systems, drying, complete planing plants, plants for the processing of solid structural timber and glued laminated timber.

However, we not only deal with the assembly and installation of the plants, our offer also includes structural alterations, plant relocations, dismantling works, supply and installation of structural steelworks as well as support in local procurement, commissioning, maintenance and repair works.
