Mechanical and electrical Installation of a complete rolling mill which produces 1 mio. to. of steel per year. The main components of the rolling mill are furnace for heating the billets, rolling mill consisting of a preliminary, main and finishing train, water-cooling track to achieve specified material properties, fully automatic cooling bed,finishing line for cutting, bundling and tying the completed construction steel and water-processing system.

Aside from the mechanical installation the project also consisted of the electrical installation as well as the hydraulic and pneumatic piping. The main installation groups were made up, next to the actual finishing, of the belt cleaning as well as the mechanical and electrical installation of an aluminum belt finishing, a drying furnace and a regenerative thermal reburning plant. This gave a total weight of all parts of some 1.700 tons. 62 kilometers of cable were laid in the electrical installation.
