The modifications consisted of the dismantling and installation of the existing steel construction, oven equipment as well as 2 cooling units inside the cooling tower during a downtime of only 28 days. In addition, SGS completed the preinstallation of a cooling scaffolding for Hicon-Lcooler, the dismantling and new piping installation, the entire warehouse management and logistic as well as the reconditioning of dismantled plant parts. ...

The equipment was delivered by the German companies of BWG, VITS, Eisenmann, Langbein & Engelbracht. Aside from the mechanical installation the project also consisted of the electrical installation as well as the hydraulic and pneumatic piping. The main installation groups were made up, next to the actual finishing, of the belt cleaning as well as the mechanical and electrical installation of an aluminum belt finishing (Eisenmann), a drying furnace (VITS) and a regenerative thermal re-burning plant (Langbein & Engelbracht).
