Successful at HYROX Doubles Vienna: Team spirit in motion

Sporting challenges connect people – especially when they are tackled together. Four of our colleagues proved this impressively at HYROX Doubles Vienna.

The idea to participate came up during a company event – from the shared desire to take on a sporting challenge outside of everyday work. Later, our colleagues Sandra and Sandra from personnel scheduling gained their first HYROX experience in Verona and brought that enthusiasm back to the team. In Vienna, Sandra and Sandra teamed up with their department manager Alexander and one of our managing directors, Christian Gittmaier, to take on the challenge.

HYROX combines strength, endurance, and mental toughness – the same qualities our teams brought to the competition floor. With strong performances and plenty of mutual support, they completed the race in impressive times of 1 hour 22 minutes and 1 hour 23 minutes.

“It was definitely a challenge – but certainly not the last HYROX we’ll take on,” reflects Alexander on the event.

Managing Director Christian Gittmaier was equally impressed by the team effort. For him, it’s less about the times and more about the teamwork: the event once again demonstrated how strong the cohesion in the #SGSTeam is and that commitment, motivation, and fun don’t stop at the office door.

HYROX Vienna was not only a sporting highlight but also a strong testament to team spirit, dedication, and community – values that connect us not just at work, but far beyond.
