Around 70 employees celebrated the 40th anniversary of Bähr Anlagenbau GmbH and the 5-year partnership with the SGS Group in Düsseldorf. The celebration was a happy reunion for many employees.

Always safe. global. fast. - not only on our construction sites: SGS site manager Dennis S. successfully took part in the Sydney half marathon.

SGS Academy | In April, two seminars were held at our headquarters in Dorf an der Pram. On April 13, 2022, colleagues from the electrical department were trained in the assembly of medium-voltage terminations. The next day, after a break due to corona, the traditional SGS seminar for assembly managers/senior fitters in the field of electronics was on the program.

A Christmas donation is a tradition at SGS, so rather than distribute gifts to customers, the company prefers to support a charitable cause, according to the three-member management team of Christian Gittmaier, Sandra Ponsold and Andreas Hofinger.

The new logistics software enables flexible and detailed documentation of our material management.

Since the start in September 2019, our branch in Poland has developed very well. In less than two years we have grown from just two employees to a total of 80 employees.

We are particularly pleased to be able to accompany young employees from the very beginning of their careers, to support and retain them. Good employees are not only the foundation for successful companies, but rather the most valuable asset.

SGS has successfully passed the audit for occupational health and safety according to ISO 45001.

Our employees are our heroes. Therefore, we are especially proud to honour six employees for their 5-, 15-, and 20 years of service with the company in January.

Today we said goodbye to a longstanding employee, who entered retirement. We thank Johann Söberl for more than 16 years with the company and for the good time we spent together.

Assembly work for our SGS team on the site began in August 2019 and now we can proudly announce and congratulate Egger to their first particle board production completed at their new site in North Carolina. Employees both from SGS and Egger signed the first particleboard panel, celebrating the significant milestone as the first panel underwent the final stages of production.

SGS Industrial Services GmbH reacted quickly to the Corona crisis and strongly relocated industrial assembly to Europe, while business in the USA was cut back significantly. As a result, SGS has full order books despite the tense international situation.

Our employees are our greatest value. Therefore, we are particularly pleased to congratulate Franz Schauer to his 10th company anniversary. On this special occasion, managing directors Andreas Hofinger and Alexander Pointner handed a small present to the jubilarian.

SGS is SCCP certified. Since this year, SGS has also met the specific requirements of the petrochemical industries and refineries.

Production is already underway in Spain. The assembly project at the Spanish particleboard producer has been completed.

We are establishing an SGS facility in Nysa. Qualified Polish employees will work exclusively for us in the future.
