Our #SGSteam team was responsible for the entire electrical installation as well as the conversion and expansion of the plant. An impressive 600 tons of cables, control cabinets, and cable support systems were removed during the dismantling phase alone.

A paper machine at the Model Sachsen Papier paper mill in Eilenburg has undergone an extensive conversion. Instead of producing newsprint, the plant will now manufacture lightweight corrugated base paper grades from recycled paper – a significant step towards sustainable packaging solutions.
With up to 200 SGS employees working on the project and a construction period of only ten months, this major project exemplifies precision, teamwork, and reliability.
