SGS successful at the CapTexTri Triathlon

The CapTexTri Triathlon took place in Austin for the 32nd time this year. The triathlon consists of three parts, swimming, cycling and running. 2,300 athletes took up the challenge. And right in the middle, very successful, Patrick, from our #SGSteam. He successfully completed the Olympic distance with 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running.
The triathlon
The event started and finished at Auditorium Shore, an event meadow on the shore of Lady Bird Lake. From here the athletes started swimming in Lady Bird Lake. Then the participants rode their bikes straight into the heart of the city, with the Texas Capitol as a backdrop. Finally, the last discipline, running. The running route wound through Butler Park before the big finish line at Auditorium Shores. After 2 hours 54 minutes, Klaus reached the finish and celebrated with his work colleagues, who loudly cheered him on during the race.
