Mainova AG is consistently implementing its planned coal phase-out: the state-of-the-art H2-ready power plant being built in Frankfurt's Gutleutviertel district is intended to be a pioneer in Germany's decarbonization. The #SGSteam, on behalf of Siemens Energy Global, is handling key parts of the assembly and installation of the power plant. With the power plant in Frankfurt, which contributes significantly to CO2 reduction (up to 400,000 tons annually) while still ensuring security of supply for Frankfurt's residents, the #SGSteam is once again involved in a significant, environmentally relevant project.

Über unseren Kunden

Siemens Energy is one of the world's leading energy technology companies. Its product portfolio covers virtually the entire energy value chain – from power and heat generation to energy transmission and storage. The portfolio includes conventional and renewable energy technology, such as gas and steam turbines, hydrogen-powered hybrid power plants, generators, and transformers.

We have a long-standing business relationship with SGS Industrial Services, based on positive experiences. We value their support in tender processing, reliability, quality, adherence to deadlines, and solution-oriented project management.
For the construction of a new plant like the Mainova model power plant, which had to be planned in a very tight space in downtown Frankfurt, SGS is an ideal partner for us, providing the turbine package and the electrical and control systems installation scope.
