Another great project where we were able to demonstrate our assembly expertise in the field of recycling plants. Under contract from Swiss Krono, our SGS team took on the conversion and expansion of the wood recycling plant in Sully sur Loire/France. The order included the delivery of approx. 70 tonnes of steel construction, the dismantling of the old plant area plus the assembly of the new plant components and the delivered steel construction.

The Project

The delivery of approx. 70 tonnes of steel structures took place in the first week of January and pre-assembly started at the beginning of March. The mechanical assembly work comprised the conveyor systems, trough chain conveyors, conveyor belts, augers, heavy material separators, separating tables, filters and extraction lines. At the beginning of May, we completed all assembly work successfully and on schedule. A remaining team of fitters took charge of the remaining work as well as supervising the commissioning.
