Major project: Installation of a CHP plant in Dresden

Thanks to its vast experience in the CCGT plant sector and a customised installation concept, SGS Industrial Services was the best choice for this project.
The individual construction fields
The entire scope of work encompasses the mechanical installation of an 8-cell CHP plant: eight 31SG motors including eight generators (181 tonnes each), eight boilers (54.5 tonnes each), 210 tonnes of exhaust systems, 623 tonnes of steelwork, 450 tonnes of ancillary equipment (tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, ...) and 110 tonnes of piping. As a total provider, we also take charge of the electrical installation of the entire plant: 16 km of cable routing and cable piping, LV and MV switchgear, 220 km of cables, all the lighting and the fire alarm system.
Trouble-free project flow
Thanks to good planning by our SGS team and our strict hygiene regulations, we are on schedule with our installation work despite these Corona times.
