Swiss Krono is setting further standards in green energy in Sully-sur-Loire. Thanks to the new low-temperature dryers, the energy requirements of the production plant in France will be reduced by 5 to 10%. SGS Industrial Services is responsible for the mechanical assembly and electrical installation of new conveyor systems, two innovative wet chip bunkers and two pneumatic conveyors.

Mechanical assembly and electrical installation of the complete conveyor technology

  • two pneumatic conveyors with a total length of 101 m and 99 m respectively

Special features of this order

Working hand in hand, both within the #SGSteam and with the customer, is also very important in this project in France. Due to the limited space available, coordination on the construction site is particularly important – many trades are working simultaneously, resulting in a large number of cranes in a small space.

  SGS Industrial Services and Swiss Krono have enjoyed a long and successful partnership. We are therefore particularly pleased to be involved in this environmentally relevant project.

About our customer Swiss Krono S.A.S.

Swiss Krono S.A.S. produces 850,000 m³ of end products annually in Sully-sur-Loire, France. Currently, around 400 employees are responsible for the manufacture and marketing of wood-based products such as chipboard, OSB and melamine decorative panels, HPL laminates and edge banding.

With the current project in Sully-sur-Loire, Swiss Krono S.A.S. is taking another significant step forward in its green energy project.
