Our News

Sporting challenges bring people together – especially when they are mastered together. Four of our colleagues impressively demonstrated exactly that at the HYROX Doubles in Vienna.

2025 was a year of growth, international projects, and strong team performance for SGS Industrial Services. Successful project sites took us to Germany, the USA, Mexico, Australia, France, Hungary, Belgium, and Italy.

Together with Julia, a #SGSteam member, we talked about the challenges of a very special adventure.

Together with our partner Bähr Anlagenbau, we can look back on a successfully completed an E&IC installation project for EEW Energy from Waste. Over a period of 16 months, an experienced #BährTeam carried out the extensive electrical engineering work reliably and on schedule.

In the second half of 2025, we at SGS celebrated the loyalty and commitment of our long-standing colleagues.

The SGS Group introduces itself: SGS Industriedienstleistung GmbH - SGS IDL for short - provides machines, tools, and consumables for our project construction sites.

The #SGSteam once again contributed to the energy transition with its assembly work. On the Volkswagen AG factory premises, two hard coal blocks from the West thermal power plant were replaced by a double block fired with natural gas.

A paper machine at the Model Sachsen Papier paper mill in Eilenburg has undergone an extensive conversion. Instead of producing newsprint, the plant will now manufacture lightweight corrugated base paper grades from recycled paper – a significant step towards sustainable packaging solutions.
